An accomplished communications and engagement specialist, Kirsten has a proven track record developing campaigns to support high profile, issues-rich private and public sector projects.

With a detailed understanding of state and local government processes and procedures, Kirsten is well placed to provide communications and engagement advice to help navigate sensitive environments and achieve successful outcomes.

Before joining The Civic Group, Kirsten led communications for the State Government’s planning, building and heritage portfolio and was also responsible for communications and engagement campaigns for Fishermans Bend, one of the country’s largest urban renewal projects. 

Kirsten was pivotal in raising the profile of Melbourne Docklands in its infancy and led communications for the state-shaping Plan Melbourne and Victoria’s regional growth plans. She has also worked in public affairs across the automotive, recruitment, gaming and real estate sectors.

Kirsten holds a Bachelor of Arts (History) from Monash University and is a member of the International Association of Public Participation (IAP2).
