Tim Cook

Account Executive

Tim comes to the Civic Group having recently advised the Victorian Government on major renewable energy policies and projects. He has an excellent understanding of the Australian government landscape, particularly in relation to policy design and project implementation processes.

Tim gained extensive political experience working in the Parliamentary offices of a number of British MPs, including a Foreign Minister and a Member of the Treasury Select Committee. During this time he provided strategic advice and research on a wide range of local, national and international issues. Tim has also worked for a number of high-profile public affairs agencies in London, working on major infrastructure and finance accounts. He therefore has a thorough understanding of campaigns, political process and government communications.

He has a passion for international affairs and a firm grasp of strategic and security policy, having undertaken communications and research positions in Washington and Canberra for defense and foreign affairs related organisations.

He holds a Master of Arts (Hons) (International Relations and History) and a Master of Arts (Politics and Security).
